ADVENTUROUS RIDE WITH INFLATABLE KAYAKS

An inflatable kayak is a compact and slender boat that is usually moved by a double-bladed paddle. The original kayak has a surrounded deck and single or multiple compartments, each seating, and one paddler. The quarter is sometimes protected by a spray deck that restrains the entry of water from spray or waves. The latest kayaks are also being sailed and projected by electric motors and outboard gas engines. The first kayaks were manufactured from tacked seal or other animal skins reclined over a wood or whalebone skeleton frame. They were used for poaching on inland lakes, rivers, and coastal waters of Arctic, North Pacific, and North Atlantic Oceans. The kayaks are considered to be 4000 years older. These oldest kayaks are displayed in the State Museum of Ethnology in Munich in North America.

MATERIALS USED TO MAKE KAYAKS:

The three primary materials used to make inflatable kayaks are:
  1. PVC: Most of the inflatable kayaks are made of the PVC material. PVC stands for Polyvinyl Chloride. It is a durable plastic that can be made flexible and supple by adding plasticizers. The toughness of the kayak depends on the thickness of the PVC layers used. There are so many benefits of using PVC kayaks like they are economical, durable, easy to patch, welded, and glued. It is also used as a covering for other materials to make them stronger and tear-resistant.
  2. PENNEL ORCA MATERIAL: Pennel Orca material is a synthetic rubber that is extremely robust and long-lasting. It is used as an exterior plating on the kayak. These are excellent for heavy whitewater and rugged use. The qualities of this Pennel orca material includes, they are resistant to corrosion, UV rays, chemicals, and extreme temperatures.
  3. NITRYLON: Nitrylon is a covering of synthetic nitrite rubber. It is the most environmentally friendly material used for the kayaks. It is sturdy, easy to patch, puncture, and abrasion-resistant. It also manages extreme cold temperatures better.
